Evaluation of the source:

Entered into Nivelle by the main scribe on the last verso page of fascicle 9. The next fascicle containing on its front page the lower voices of the song's first section and on the first opening the couplet section is missing. Music and text on the first stave has been erased and recopied by another hand.

Comments on text and music:

Incomplete setting of a bergerette on the theme of the lover speaking to his heart.
